All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy

So I've played maybe an hour since my last post, and I'm not so sure I'll be able to clear this bonuses as fast as I'd hoped. I'm going into work tomorrow for the first time in two weeks, and I'll probably end up in on Saturday too cause apparently their really busy. I'll have a chance to play Friday and Saturday night, and I'll get through the first part of my GNUF bonus no problem, but I also have to study for my two exams that are on the Monday and Tuesday, and then I'll be working full time after that until Christmas most probably. Ugh.

In other news I was offered a car for $500 today, which is either being bought by me or going to the scrap yard. It's actually in decent shape, and it's probably a steal at $500, but I don't think I can realistically afford a car right now, specially an old one that's going to be prone to breaking down. Starting next month me and my girlfriend are going to be paying all the bills to live in my parents' house, since they are moving out. While that is sweet, it's going to be a decent amount of money and don't know if I want to be paying for gas, insurance and the plates all at the same time, since I didn't budget for that. I could afford it, but I really feel like getting maximum savings this winter and for a long time now, because the long term plan at this point is to eventually buy this place, and I don't think my current balance would be enough for a down payment. Generally they want more than a c-note.

I'm hoping to be able to save $500 a month, minimum, and that's only from work. If I can get to NL50 by January, which is still an outside possibility, I might be able to kick it pretty good as a side income. Say $500 extra a month, it would be sweet.

My dad is buying a new dSLR Camera, trying to decide between the new Sony a300 and the Canon Rebel XS. The reason I'm mentioning this is that he's in England where (he claims) they're cheaper, but was having me do some currency conversion to check. In the process I put $30 000 USD into the currency converter and at the current rate of exchange that comes out to $37 000 CND. How sweet is that? If I could play NL100 and NL200 fulltime, which I'm really hoping to be doing within a year, and could be getting $60 000 a year (about 3.5ptbb/100 at NL100, so mixing NL100 and 200 should make it very realistic), that would be $74k a year, give or take. I love the weaker dollar. I really hope I'm not kidding myself here, and if I am please let me know.
