For example I was playing against one guy who was raising most hands, but occasionally would limp. I'd identified his limps as being weak, and made a note that I should raise him each time he limps, until I feel any resistance. So of course the first hand he limps after that I have junk and I check it back and we see a flop. As soon as I've clicked check I swear to myself, but it's too late. And then I do it again. And again. And again.
Obviously the pots in this example are small, but it shows that I'm not paying enough attention to what I'm doing with two games going. Whenever one game would end and I'd be wanting for another to start, I definitely made some moves I wouldn't have done if I was double tabling. I'm going to take one more shot at it, and if I see that I'm making the same mistake I'll go to one table again for awhile. I really want to be two tabling though, so I'm going to make a concerted effort to try to make it work.
As for how my games went, I finished 3-3, with one of my wins coming off a bad shove, and two of my losses coming against big losers who were both playing at least one level above their usual game. In one the guy was an aggro monkey who would raise w/ top pair betting every street for full pot and occasionally overbet shove (as in 50bb into a 5bb pot). With A2s I called a raise from him. Flop comes K2x high with two spades and we both check the flop. I turned trips and donk pot it and he flat calls. The third spade hits on the river and I pot it again and he shoves. Sigh.
I would play more tonight, but I'm waiting for a phone call and don't want to get stuck in the middle of a game, so either later tonight, or more likely tomorrow I'll try to 10-20 games.
