Sorry for the almost month long layoff. It was the christmas holidays after all. I ended up spending half of my time off at my cottage and a few other days away from home and since I last posted I might have played 20 games. I've had no time for poker what-so-ever. The last two nights I was really jones up to play a little, and I just never got around, much to my shegrim.
The games I have played, I've played really well, which is just encouraging me even more. I started to 2-table after doing some thinking. What the hell is the point in playing online if you're going to one-table? My new objective is to get to the $30 games, and once my roll is high enough for 50s I'm going to try 3-tabling. If I can maintain a good enough ROI to have a higher $/h than while 2-tabling over 200-300 games, I'll go to the 50s. If not I'll drop back to 2-tables and probably still move up.
The two-tabling has been going well as I've finally managed to slow myself down as well as starting to believe in my reads a little more. The more I play, the quicker I'm able to make reads. I'm making folds I know I wouldn't have before, and I think I'm adapting to different players a lot better than I used to, specially while 2-tabling. My note taking has fallen off, but it's pretty rare I actually end up playing the same person at a later date anyway, so I'm not worrying about it too much. I still take notes, but they are more general.
Again I'm aiming to play a lot more over the next little while, and I'm hoping I get the chance. Tonight I'll definitely get at least an hour in, and then this weekend I'm hoping to get a few more hours, but there is a ton of shit that needs to be done around the house so I'm not too sure how much - if any - play I'll be able to work in. I'll do my best though.
