I hate pacific poker. Last night I was debating getting off the site without bothering to clear my bonus, because it's software is truly tilting me to no end. I folded AK pre-flop more than once, as well as JJ once, last night, simply because I didn't put in a bet within the 10 seconds I have to act. The software gives you no fucking time to think and it's really mind boggling how these people stay in business. Anyone who plays on their software for the first time and figures that's what online poker must be like is really missing out, and I almost feel like they are causing people to stay away from online poker in the long run.
I decided to stick with them in the end, for two reasons. One is I'm 2/3 of the way through the bonus, and it seems stupid to stop now. Second is I think I'm learning a lot playing on here about myself, and it's really teaching me to control myself. The time to make a decision is simply way to fucking fast, but with only a few more hours of play needed, I think I can deal with it. The other main reason is that it'll take three business days to process my cash out (which is fucking ridiculous and an attempt by them to keep money locked into their site, which I think is pretty underhanded), and if I did that today my money wouldn't be back in my moneybookers account until Monday or Tuesday. Fuck those fucking fuckers, as some would say. So I'm going to do my best to clear it by this Sunday, as was my plan in the first place. If I can have it cleared by Sunday I'll cash it out late that night or Monday morning, and then I should have the money into another site by Thursday I hope.
I really do wish that some people actually read my blog, as I think I'd be accomplishing something if I were to keep one person away from Pacific.
